Manchester United’s star player, Marcus Rashford, reportedly came to the rescue of Alisha Lehmann, a midfielder for Aston Villa Women, after she was mobbed by a group of men in a Manchester nightclub.
Rashford was out with his friends when he saw Lehmann entering the venue and intervened by inviting her and her friends to join his VIP section so that they could enjoy their night in peace.
The two exchanged a few words, and Lehmann thanked Rashford for his help, after which they continued to party with their separate sets of friends. Lehmann is a famous figure in women’s football and has over 13 million followers on Instagram.
